We made the Summit for the competitiveness of south Colombia. In this Event took part the 9 departments of south Colombia, to discuss the priorities in infrastructure, agro industry and Science technology and Innovation.
This is the Convention center in Neiva Huila. The statues (a couple dancing "Sanjuanero") represent the culture of this department.
The name of the Convention Center take the name of "Jose Eustasio Rivera", an important Huilense Writer who best book was "La Vorágine".
We wanted to show to all the people who came to this event a sample of diversity of the culture of south Colombia, we put pictures about the 9 departments inside of the Convention Center.
We were finishing the last details before start this event.
Also we were going to offer to our guests thes gastronomy of Huila.
This is a picture of the City of "Santiago de cali" better known like "Cali". if you want to see the best salsa dancers in the world, go and visit cali, is a great city.
On left is a picture of Nariño department, who is situated in the limit of the country with ECUADOR. On the right is a picure of Tolima department.
One important topic who will be discussed in the Summit, is about the peace procces who are taking place en Cuba between the Goberment and the Guerrilla of FARC.

So we can see military authorities, presidents of the chamber of commerce, president of the associations of chambers of commerce, the gobernator of Huila and the mayor of Neiva.

The summit consisted in two days: the first day we took infraestructure and agroindustry in the following way for each issue.

They are our international key speakers: on the right, is the CEO of CEPAL who is the economic comisión to latin america and the caribbean. Octavio Doerr from Chile. The Head of the Americas Division of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, Minister Phillipe Nell from Switzerland. The CEO of the DEMUCA Fundation of the spanish Agency of international cooperation AECID, Mercedes Peñas, and the CEO of Granot Central Cooperative Ltd. Roberto Kuperman from Israel.
Also we organized a dancing show for all our guest
The next day, we continue with the academic program, in this case we invited to Dr. Philippe Nel,
Head of Americas Division of State Secretariat for Economic Affairs from Swiss.
Then, we listening the vice-mayor of Medellin city talking about the important of innovation.
Finally we organized the meeting to the governors of the nine colombian south departments.
So, the finally picture of all the people who come to Neiva from the other colombian regions. We did it!!
